THIS JUST IN: We have received confirmation of another previous subliminal message displayed during Red Eye’s broadcast. The user @JoeRLancaster tweeted this to us below, it was another inserted frame but this time with Andy Levy. First of all we would like to thank Jon Bershad (@JonBershad) for the great job that he did writing the story for Mediaite (http://www.mediaite.com/tv/foxs-red-eye-featured-a-bizarre-punish-him-message-in-secret-subliminal-frame/).
However for us this “simply for amusement” theory does not wrap up the story. There seems to be a lot of assumptions going on in this story. We don’t want to make an issue out of nothing but there are a couple of holes in this which we see:
- This has obviously been going on for a while (as we have heard from several sources including Mediaite), however even though we watch Red Eye regularly (but perhaps not as religiously as some people seem to) we have never seen any of these strange images. This is strange. Not impossible but shall we say “bizarre”? So we truly are curious, if you know which clips they are please Tweet us, or send us a message as we would like to get more information about this story.
- There is a lot of ASSUMING with everyone that seems to have a theory about this. We’ve heard people say that it’s a sort of joke between Bill and Greg, or just Greg fooling around like he always does but nobody seems to know for sure.
- The “Punish Him” text is very violent language, especially for a practical joke or even an inside joke. This is especially true considering the wide range of possible things to say. Next time maybe “Follow Him” or “Send Him Small Furry Things That Run Around On Two Legs” or something actually really amusing, instead of something that is actually kind of creepy especially considering what is happening in the world at this time.
- The main predicament is: While Greg is sitting there on his high horse telling Weiner that he should come clean, he is sitting there pulling a “Weiner” and not explaining anything even though we tried strenuously to get him, Bill or even Terry to offer an explanation but apparently the inside joke is just that good. Well if that is truly what it is, have fun boys, but keep in mind when you really do get hacked you and Weiner will be sitting there together with your pants around your ankles (literally for Weiner) looking like the “boys who cried wolf”.

We recently were watching Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld during the June 3rd broadcast and noticed this image inserted in the segment right after the Greg-alogue about the new My Food Plate while Terry Schappert was commenting on the Terror Alert System:
Was this a hack? This is probably one of the most bizarre things ever. I mean who is angry enough to attack Gutfeld this hard? We sent earlier Tweets but we have not received a response. Now that we have the screenshot we were wondering what it was?
